A Juilliard graduate, Cameron built one of New York's most sought-after vocal studios and has held staff positions at The Juilliard School, New York University and Chicago's Ravinia Steans Music Institute before returning to Cambridge.
At home teaching singing lessons to both emerging talent and seasoned professionals, he is regarded by many as one of the finest singing teachers working today, with a reputation spanning the classical and contemporary commercial worlds.
He is co-founder and Artistic Director of The Vocal Coaches, leading a hand-picked team of teachers across the UK, Europe and the US with students in over forty countries. His students win major international competitions, appear on global stages, and earn scholarships at leading conservatoires. In the contemporary field he has coached major-label artists on Atlantic and Universal.
Cameron's work has been featured on BBC television and radio, including Sunday Morning Live, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 5 Live, Times Radio, SWR Germany, and WQXR NYC.
He was awarded a certificate for outstanding contribution to music education by Carnegie Hall.

As a pianist, accompanist and singer, Cameron has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the BBC Proms, Wigmore Hall, St James's Palace, and the Royal Festival Hall, and at festivals across Europe and North America. In concert he has accompanied soul legend Mica Paris, West End stars Kerry Ellis and Louise Dearman.
As a session singer he recorded fifteen discs for Hyperion, earning a Grammy nomination and Albums of the Year from BBC Music Magazine and Gramophone, and has sung with London Voices — heard on the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings scores at Abbey Road — and Polyphony. A former Britten–Pears and Park Lane Group Young Artist, he has broadcast for the BBC, Classic FM and WQXR New York, and toured as pianist for BRIT Award-winning Blake.
