Cameron Richardson

International vocal consultant

Cameron Richardson is Head of the Musical Theatre programme at the University of Cambridge (Trinity College).

He trained at the University of Cambridge, the Royal Academy of Music, and The Juilliard School in New York, where he was a Fulbright Scholar and later served on faculty.

He teaches at the highest level of the industry, with voice students starring in lead roles in over 20 Broadway shows, as well as in the West End, major Hollywood films, and television for all mainstream platforms, as well as major label contemporary recording artists representing over 2 billion streams.

As a performer, he has appeared at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the BBC Proms, and the Royal Festival Hall as well as extensive performances on BBC National TV and Radio, Classic FM, SWR Deutschland and WQXR New York. A leading authority on vocal coaching and music education, he is often invited to give interviews and commentaries on major media channels, recently including on BBC One (TV), Times Radio and BBC Radio 5Live.
